Buyer Department: Procurement, Athens based

The Role:

Support the Senior Buyer in building the annual strategy, identify the initiatives required, as well as secure their timely implementation and evaluation of the initiatives assigned.
Helps on Spare Parts, technical equipment and maintenance services procurement activities

Key Accountabilities:

His/her area of involvement has to do with supply chain operations, related to breweries and water plant production support.

Specifically:

-Investment projects (CAPEX), maintenance and spare parts, auxiliary production related material.

-Participates in the development of annual category & subcategories strategy creation and proposed initiatives-Collects and analyses all data available to support strategy & planning -Investigate the market in terms of developments, potential new vendors and opportunities

-Follows up in the execution of plans he/she is responsible with-He/she is involved in the source to contract process( RFI –RFQ –Tender –Supplier selection & awarding –contracting ) for his/her assigned initiatives and supports senior buyers when required to investment projects

-Runs tenders for categories assigned and negotiates with vendors for price and payment terms -Evaluates supplier performance where required and proposes improvements

-Contracts creation and maintenance in our system, PO creation and approvals in our systems-Participates in cross-functional working teams when required or division common projects Candidate Profile-Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering or Business-related field

-At least 3-4years of experience in a related role (FMCGs or industrial production work experience, are preferable)

-Work experience in SAP and other procurement supporting systems will be preferable

-Knowledge of Excel, advanced level

-Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

-Strong internal & external business ‘’building and networking’’ relationships -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels-Results oriented with strategic thinking and value creation mindset-Team player with categories development vision
