Our client, a multinational retail company, a key player in the market. We are seeking to recruit an ambitious Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our clients’ team. In this role, you will oversee, manage and administer our employees’ rewards, perks and benefits.

 

You will be critical to client success as you will be developing programs that will improve employees’ performance, organizational trust and engagement

Responsibilities:

  • Design a compensation package based on business goals and strategy
  • Prepare and update salary pay scales
  • Create a consistent compensation guideline and policies that match clients’ organizational culture
  • Design compensation and benefits policies and processes
  • Research and design compensation and benefits plans that are cost-effective and competitive
  • Provide guidance to managers on job descriptions, analyze job descriptions, evaluations and ensure proper classification of positions
  • Compare benefits and compensation plans, job classifications and pay through data and cost analyses
  • Conduct salary and labour market research to define benchmarks
  • Apply effective communication strategies in communicating with employees, managers and executive leaders
  • Assess employees needs by conducting organizational surveys
  • Monitor and research new trends and best practice in the areas of compensation and benefits
  • Design and present reports and recommendations based on research and analysis for the executive leadership team.
  • Conduct periodic audits
  • Collaborate with outside vendors, such as brokers and benefits vendors

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a compensation and benefits specialist
  • Prior experience in HR operations and knowledge of best practices
  • Good understanding of full-cycle hiring process
  • Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations
  • Hands-on experience with quantitative and qualitative research
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • BA in relevant field or equivalent work experience
