REPORTS TO: SERVICES DIVISION’S DIRECTOR OR/AND CREDIT RISK ANALYTICS MANAGER
TEAM: SERVICES DEPARTMENT

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Our Services department that has led the market in the field of Advanced Analytics applications for 30+ years, offers an opportunity to Data & Analytics professionals to become part of a successful Professional Services team, providing consulting and implementation services to a diverse, cross-industry clientele.

We are looking for someone to unite with of our Risk Data & Analytics experts’ team and support our efforts in the application of Data Mining, Predictive Analytics and Optimisation methodologies, leading to the realisation of robust, integrated Analytical assets, the results of which feed the tuning of Financial Services Operators’ everyday decisioning in the credit risk domain.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Research, develop and implement related processes, models and overall Analytical assets, including technical and non-technical documentation.
  • Lead data processes and models’ annual reviews and performance testing, requiring solid understanding of documented information and testing requirements.
  • Engage with Senior Managers from the client’s side (Business & Technical), to provide value added solutions to better inform and enhance the risk-return tradeoff.
  • Apply critical business and analytical thinking in solving complex business problems with quantitative tools, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Act to be perceived as a partner by Risk Managers from the client’s side

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degrees (MSc preferable – BSc acceptable) in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science or other relevant quantitative field.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the Financial Services’ Credit Risk domain.
  • Business Analysis performance, translating business requirements into data management and analysis processes’ specs.
  • Experience in data mining, data management, assessing data quality, building appropriate data environments (data-marts, data models, KPI universes, etc).
  • Experience in the development and deployment of analytical processes, calculations and models for some or all of the below areas:
    • IFRS9, IRB
    • Stress Tests
    • Application or/and Behavioural Scorecards
  • Knowledge of analytical tools and programming/scripting languages, such as SQL, PL SQL, SPSS Modeler (ex. Clementine), SPSS Statistics, SAS, R, Python (will be considered a strong asset).
  • Problem solving, collaborative and proactive attitude.
  • Strong structural, communication and presentation skills.
  • Curiosity to grow via experimenting with new technologies and methodologies.
  • Ability to deliver assigned work (part of an overall project) on time and at adequate quality.
  • Fluent in English
