The role

As a key member of the Customer Success team, the Scientific Liaison ensures that users of Causaly in pharmaceutical and biotech accounts understand and use the platform successfully.

  • Partner with Sales team in presentations and demos to top global pharmaceutical companies as domain expert. Answer scientific questions during sales-team initiated presentations
  • Ensure successful retention of assigned accounts by proactively engaging with users: answering scientific and product questions, making demos, supporting them to find evidence in Causaly, creating educational material
  • Share learnings from engagement with industry scientists to internal teams including marketing, sales, and engineering
  • Conduct research on topics of interest and write articles to evangelize the capabilities of Causaly
  • Conduct analysis of biomedical papers in a broad range of topics to support expanding our algorithms machine reading capabilities
  • Experiment with new ways to communicate with and support users to evolve the customer success process

REQUIREMENTS

Must-have

  • PhD/MSc in Biomedical Sciences
  • Demonstrated and extensive biomedical research experience. Ideally you have spent 100s if not 1000s of hours searching in Pubmed
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Comfortable presenting to scientific audience

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in a professional environment where you needed to engage in customer-facing activities
  • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry
